Hengxiang Testing introduces the testing standards for woven clothing (Part 2) - down clothing testing, silk clothing testing, washed and finished clothing testing, qipao clothing testing.

GB/T 14272-2021 Down Clothing:

Suitable for clothing made mainly of woven fabrics and filled with down. Other fillers can be used for small parts such as placket, bag cover, hood, collar, etc. Not suitable for down and fiber blend filling, layered or partitioned down filled with fibers.

Testing items: Appearance quality, usage instructions, physical and chemical properties [fiber content, formaldehyde content, pH value, decomposable aromatic amine dyes, odor, AP and APnEO, fabric color fastness (soap washing resistance, water resistance, friction resistance, sweat stain resistance, light resistance, splicing and mutual dyeing), lining color fastness (soap washing resistance, water resistance, sweat stain resistance, dry friction resistance), seam performance, drilling value, washed appearance], filling amount, filling material requirements (nominal velvet content, velvet content deviation, velvet+feather yarn, fluffiness, oxygen consumption, turbidity, residual fat rate, poultry hair content, goose plush content, heterochromatic plush, impurities, odor) (for infants and young children) Children's clothing must also meet the requirements of GB 31701 standards.

GB/T 18132-2016 Silk Clothing:

Suitable for silk clothing produced primarily from fabrics containing silk or silk woven fabrics.

Not suitable for clothing for infants and young children aged 36 months and under.

Suitable for qipao produced mainly from textile woven fabrics.

Not suitable for clothing for infants and young children aged 36 months and under.
